You're invited to "Prohibition Blues", an evening featuring well-known Beijing blues musician Eric Allen at Confidential Bar in the Pingguo North Art Community. This new Prohibition Era-themed bar is hidden away -- appropriately enough -- in a barber shop. Which makes this the perfect venue for Eric to play the blues for RASBJ members and friends, old and new. If you feel like you've gained a new appreciation of what the "prohibition era" was all about, why not beat your blues with some great blues music?

Eric 'Howlin' Allen has performed throughout China as a solo act, Howlin' Rotten Blues duo, and as the Eric Allen Woodshed band since 2017. His music includes fast and slow authentic Americana, outlaw, and blues originals. His most recent album "Prowlin' Lobo Blues" is slated for release in the fall of 2022. In addition to his onstage work, Allen has brought authentic blues and Americana music to Chinese youth through music classes and performances.

HOW MUCH: RASBJ members RMB 150, non-members RMB 200 -- includes one free glass of wine, beer or soft drinks along with canapes by sister restaurant Plan B. Additional food can be ordered from Plan B. Additional drinks will be available on a cash basis, and a small selection of discounted cocktails will be on offer.
